Location: Eastpointe Christian Church
Classroom: Student Room (109/110)
Who: For students 3rd Grade and up!
This one time class will give students a great understanding of the basics of what it means to follow Jesus. We will discuss what the Bible says about baptism, accepting Christ as Lord, and what living for Jesus looks like. Students will gain a greater understanding of what a Christian is, who Jesus is, why we need him, what sin is, why Jesus had to die, what his resurrection means for us, and much more. There is a Baptism Sunday coming up November 23, so this would give them a great understanding of what that is all about if they are considering being baptized.

Are you ready for that next step of obedience in your faith journey?
Are you ready to fully surrender to Christ and be encouraged by the family of God?
Then we'd love to hear from you, pray for you and prepare you for Baptism Sunday, November 23rd.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), a non-profit charity, partnered with Lowes to provide the wood and parts needed for building the beds. And, it’s generous people like YOU who help by purchasing the sheets and pillows needed! (Note: Mattresses and blankets are not currently needed.)
SHP volunteers cut, sand, assemble and stain wood to create headboards, sideboards and slats. We visit the apartments or homes of children who don’t have a bed and assemble them there. Then, we add the mattress and finish up with colorful sheets, blankets, pillows and pillowcases. Kids who receive a bed are thrilled! Often times, this is the first bed they’ve ever had.
SHP Hilliard Chapter will surpass 500 beds delivered total!! This is a big accomplishment and a huge thank you to everyone that has helped 500 children sleep better at night. Let's get to 1,000!!
Upcoming build events are now listed on the chapter website here, so feel free to register for them whenever you would like, and share this link with anyone else you know who might be interested.
Access our Amazon Wish List OR, purchase the sheets and pillows at your favorite store and then ship them to: SHP, 6186 Feder Rd, Columbus, OH 43228

Grandparenting can be both rewarding and at times heartbreaking. You want to disciple your adult children and grandchildren to follow Christ, but how do you do it best? Maybe you have a close relationship with your grandkids or maybe you’re at the opposite end of the spectrum with very limited access. David Upchurch will help you build and leave a legacy regardless of where you land on this spectrum.
David co-authored The Disciple Making Grandparent: A Guidebook for Helping Your Grandchild Trust and Follow Jesus, along with Daniel McCoy. He and his wife, Cindy, have 3 children and 6 grandchildren, so he brings first-hand experience! Through teaching and discussion, his goal is to help every grandparent, regardless of their situation, to leave with both hope and a plan. Hope you’ll join us!
Cost: A free-will offering will be taken up during the seminar.

Groups are a great way to grow deeper, smaller. We have two options for Groups: C Groups and Small Groups. We encourage everyone to participate in a group that works for your life and schedule that will catapult you toward spiritual growth through relationships.
A C-Group is a small intimate group of 4-5 people who are of the same gender and meet together on a monthly basis in order to help each other live courageously for Christ (the C is for courage).
Small Groups can be anywhere from 8-12 people. They meet on the same night each week for 6 week periods of time. You can join a small group at the beginning of any 6 week session.
Registration for Groups kicks off September 7th. Groups launch in October and run through August 2026.
Families who would like to publicly make a commitment to raise their children in the way of the LORD can participate in Infant & Child Dedication.
