2021 ANNUAL MEETING
On the last Sunday of January, Eastpointe has a special gathering of our congregation where we celebrate what God has done over the past year and what we are looking forward to in the coming year. It is also a chance to affirm new Elder candidates and reaffirm those whose terms are expiring.
This year, we have decided that doing our traditional Congregational Meeting and lunch after the services would not be wise due to COVID. So instead, we are going to make this meeting a part of our Sunday morning worship services. Come hear what we have to celebrate from 2020 and the fresh vision that God has for us in 2021 and beyond!
Note: Both services will be streamed as usual, and those members participating online will have the opportunity to vote.
We have two Elders who are up for reaffirmation this year: Scott Brown and Ed Robinson. Also, Bill Sommer has been nominated as a new Elder. Bill has gone through the Elder's vetting process, and is being nominated by the Elders as a first time Elder. All members of the congregation will have the opportunity to vote to affirm these three candidates.
