Safety & Security at Eastpointe

At Eastpointe Christian Church, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where individuals and families can worship, grow, and connect with confidence. The safety and well-being of our church family and guests are important to us, and we take intentional steps to provide a secure environment for everyone who enters our campus.

  • To help ensure a safe experience on Sunday mornings and during church events, Eastpointe utilizes:

    • Special Duty Officers from the Columbus Police Department on Sunday mornings

    • A dedicated Safety Team trained to assist with emergency response and campus security

    • Security cameras located throughout our property to help monitor activity and enhance the safety of our guests, members, volunteers, and staff

Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where people can focus on worship, community, and spiritual growth.

  • The safety of children and students is a top priority at Eastpointe.

All volunteers serving with children and teens are required to complete a background check before serving.

We also provide policies, procedures, and training designed to create a safe environment for every child and student entrusted to our care.

  • Eastpointe regularly captures photographs and video recordings during worship services, ministry activities, and special events. Portions of our services are also livestreamed and may be shared through church communications and social media platforms.

Please be aware that photographs, video recordings, and livestreaming may occur during worship services and church events. By attending, you acknowledge that your image or likeness may appear in church communications, social media, livestreams, or promotional materials.

If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify a staff member or stop by the Welcome Center at Connection Pointe. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.

  • If you have questions regarding our safety procedures, children's ministry policies, or media practices, please contact the church office. We are happy to help and want every person who attends Eastpointe to feel safe, valued, and cared for.
