Meeting Details

On Sunday, January 30 at the conclusion of both worship services, we will hold a brief congregational meeting in order to seek approval of our Elder nominees and our bylaw revisions. All members of Eastpointe who have attended at least one half of the worship services either in person or online over the past 3 months are welcome to participate in the approval process.

If you are interested in learning more about the proposed changes to our bylaws, we will have an open meeting on Tuesday, January 25 at 6:30pm in Classroom A. You are welcome to join us. In short, E2 Elders worked with us to modify our bylaws to help accomplish 3 purposes:

• Scriptural

• Simple

• Safeguarding of the congregation

Since the duration of our Elder term length will be changing, all of our Elders will be up for affirmation at our congregational meeting.

Existing Elders include:

• Scott Brown, Mike Carter, Ed Robinson, Stephen Simms, and Bill Sommer.

New Elder Candidates include:

• Jeremy Polley
